Size guide for women's clothing

Designer sizes differ from house to house, so your measurements are a better guide than the size on your label. Take them once, then compare them with the size guide on each product page.
How to measure
Use a soft tape measure and wear light clothing. Keep the tape level and snug, not tight. Ask someone to help if you can.
- Bust: around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms.
- Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips: around the fullest part of your hips, with your feet together.
- Inside leg: from the top of your inner thigh to the ankle, for trousers.
- Length for abayas and long dresses: from the top of the shoulder to where you want the hem, usually the ankle, in the shoes you plan to wear.

This table is an approximate guide. Each house cuts differently, so always check the size guide on the product page.

Choosing between two sizes
- Fitted pieces (tailoring, bodycon dresses): go by your largest measurement among bust, waist and hips.
- Relaxed and oversized pieces: your usual size is often right; the size down gives a closer fit.
- Fabrics without stretch, such as silk, crepe and leather, do not give. Size up if you are between sizes.
- Read the fit notes and reviews on the product page: other clients often say whether a piece runs small or large.
